Our 7th restaurant in Cala d'Or so far and probably the best. Try everything with Mallorca flag from the menu, you will love it! Lovely friendly staff, would recommend. Pizza dough was amazing.
On the positive side the waitress was very nice, and we got a round of drinks as compensation for the errors (which also came wrong somehow) which is why I scored them a 3 and not a 0. Keep up the good work guys! Couldn't eat the paella, and chicken satay sticks. Well done to the India John's team. We have only tried their mix paella but it wasn't good. Thank you so much for making every one of our visits a pleasure! The downside is, that it is rather pricey. The stuff was very nice and the food was so delicious. We ate twice at Fernando's Cafe in Cala D'or and both times found the food and service to be amazing and very good value.
Im not a seafood lover and the chef tailored all to our taste. As a restaurant serving food you have a responsibility to serve SAFE food for consumption.
Walk ins are generally possible but for busy times of year or larger parties I'd always book. Vegan food was amazing really couldn't have asking for a better night. We was having the best night until some locals on the table sat next to us decided to be very vocal and rude to us because we was chatting away and having a laugh, they made us feel very uncomfortable and the waiters and manager soon had them moved along and told them to leave, but the locals were going around to tables chatting about us and just ruined our night so we soon left. 
This Place ist a must see, be and eat! Excellent experience at this lovely restaurant. Excellent service with lots if choice.

Fabulosa!! Definitely a tasty cheap eat ! Simple entree but the salmon steak and chicken fillets we got for main were generous enough with a delicious sauce, chips and veggies. We ate here and ordered from the set menu (Entree, main, dessert & a drink for 10) and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Worst lasagna Ive ever had. Now and unfortunately this turned out to be the worst one. Thai and Japanese! The service is incredible (huge bonus wherever you are) alongside the great food. Stopped in for a drink and Tony the owner was brilliant and nothing was too much hassle. The staff where helpful and friendly prices where reasonable. Super nice place in Cala d'Or Marina. All in all a very average place for somewhere quite expensive. Or you could opt for pasta, pizza, fish and shellfish, rice dishes or stews at a table on the spacious covered terrace by the water. I had chicken with sate sauce and my boyfriend had a steak. The food was delicious, the staff fantastic and the view of the harbor was gorgeous. We cannot wait to return and try the rice paella and tapas!! Great wine. The hookah wasn't the best, but they are still improving, so that's nice. Service excellent as we are early but was slower for diners who came after 8pm. Excellent service as well . Please take our tip and make an order of Tinto de verano here you will love this drink , bit disappointed by the food here, although reasonable costs, quality was poor. Pretty setting by the marina. No menu for drinks, you get what ever the special is on that day which I thought was cool, but they will change things if required. Normal prices, really nice white wine and paella mixta, good tapas, fresh fish ( sepia a la plancha was so good) different choices in the menu. Asador Es Teatre specialises in roast lamb, T-bone steaks and other fine cuts of aged meat, all seared to perfection on the Josper (grill-oven). Delicious home-made tapas with delicate taste and textures, allowing for a treat of your senses. For me the steak tartare was too spicy and too over dressed with mustard unfortunately. I have no clue what went wrong, cause from outside it looked pretty authentic and seemed they know their food, but clearly they didnt. Found this place 2 night the lamb melted in ya mouth prices was good will be coming back again 5 star.
We went back our last night and tried a lot of different tapas . Staff welcoming and friendly, what more could you ask for??? Food was superb! We skipped desert. Ambience was great and they had live piano music. and their coleslaw needs to be eaten with literally everything - its just stunning. Superb Location! Had a great time with my wife, would defo recommend it! Cocktails are fairly pricey but they are pretty big and tasty. Staff are all English so no worries with the language. We tried the mixed tapas plate of Gusto, which was really great. Food was absolutely delicious and the Sangria was probably one of the best in town hence we went 3 times during our 3 days stay.
So we let the waitress know that just for the futher notice it would be nice to let people know that you have to ordre sides separately so they don't make the same mistakes as we did.The waitress got really defensive and told us that everything is described in the menu and they don't have time to ask about sides. Great steak house with great staff. Cocktails are really good as is their local larger Mahou. We were recommended this place by someone we met. We ordered the 5 piece tapas and every dish was out of this world. Great place for lunch or Diner. I've got Meatlovers hamburger (via photo). Service is attentive and dishes like fresh lobster sauted in lime butter, squid with sepia rice or rack of lamb slow-roasted in its own juices are cooked with aplomb. If it wasnt for the rude locals on the table next to us we would of stayed and finished our meals. We had a delicious lunch we will be back soon. A dessert of mango and cinnamon mousse was a nice finish. Amazing food, superb service. Would recommend. Highly recommend a visit! Amazing lunch today! The pizza was just about ok.
Excellent Hake and Sea Bass. Unfortunately the bread and aioli beforehand had filled the space that dessert could have occupied, but the dessert menu featured plenty of home made options. You will be very well looked after here. Very good ambience and food. Lets talk about the sangria now, no bueno. Cozy seating outside under the roof with the extra heater. Not too expensive for central location, 10 Euros lunch menu including 2 dishes and cup of wine . The food was cooked very well, I just would have liked to see more 'meat' in the fresh shrimp as lots of shell but food was delicious and Emmanuel was an amazing waiter and couldn't do enough for us. I had one bit of a satay skewer what is in the picture is what I left. A cracking location overlooking the yacht port, chilled music and friendly service makes Aquarius stand out. So everything together it was an average experience, they had good drinks tho.
Steak was awful cooked really badly. Very good food for value and friendly staff. . The staff was friendly and quick. Awesome menu, tasty drinks and amazing service! I definitely recommend this place!! Walking through the lovely center in Cala dor we saw this nice tapas restaurant. We loved the Bao breads (steamed buns with filling) and an Indian dish (cant remember the name).
Great place lovely friendly staff . Besides the usual paella and pasta, this enduringly popular place has been pleasing diners with plates of calamares rellenos (stuffed squid) lechona (suckling pig) and tumbet (Mallorcan ratatouille) for over 20 years. It was half cooked because the rice was crunchy from the inside. The food each time was fantastic and every single member of the wait staff were cheery and welcoming. A no worries pleasurable dining experience. Owned by a English man who was very welcoming. Great Place! Great food, tapas option is a great recommendation. Great food and flexible service, sorting out our special requests from our daughters (4 and 5) . Great food, fast service and super super friendly staff! I had trampo and the grilled pork ribs, the former a 'salad' of finely chopped tomato, green pepper and onion in a dressing that was far more than the sum of its ingredients, and could probably be eaten with a spoon like soup. Would recommend. Starters were very good, everyone enjoyed. A nice and very on demand restaurant in the area, a bit rowdy though. We went yesterday. I recommend this restaurant. Lianne and Martin have always been great hosts but last night was something special. Cant wait to go back! , Amazing food, the unlimited tapas were super worth it. We are fans of fine dining but this is not that. Lovely staff and lovely restaurant if Im here again for a holiday I will certainly be back. Will be going back later in the week. Definitely worth a visit. If you come here, do eat seafood tho, dont go with hamburgers in a seafood restaurant and then complain about it :). Absolutely amazing night. 100% recommended. Generous portions, fresh food and friendly staff. Good selection of wines promoting Mallorcan produce, and a wide selection of meats and vegetables all expertly cooked to make the most of the excellent local produce.
But the staff did everything they could. Excellent food and service, very friendly and helpful staff. Nice cocktails, but rather loud. Restaurante La Fontanella is back But it doesn't weigh up the high prices. Incredible food, great service, nice location. Beats a dinner at the crowded walking streets any day. The bar does not work with a menu but with special cocktails for each day. We had food from the lunch menu - lobster cream, grill foie gras, peek cheek pasta (posh carbonara), octopus stew and brioche for dessert. It was ok . Beautiful restaurant on the marina, service was excellent and the food incredibly tasty and fresh. Nacho chips quality was very disappointing though. Food very good staff attentive until a group of ladies turned up still waiting for something to clean hands with after spare ribs. The pizza was pretty average and too expensive for the quality. Lovely little Irish bar, all the staff are amazing and went for the fish and chips. Five Star recommendation! Love this place! Second, To many items on the menu, so it's obvious it's not all fresh. It depends on when you visit! We ordered chefs recommendations, an amazing lasagna with parmesan and serrano ham, and our starters were also amazing. The service is not spectacular, but delivers and faster than you might think. The majority of tables around us were offered dessert and complimentary shots once they finished their meal, we were sat for 25 minutes before we got the bill. Great pub! Best curry around.
Great staff, good wine list, lovely place to visit day or evening. The salads are so fresh and tastes amazing , Excellent breakfast from early morning (8.30) . But the risotto and fillet steak where also GREAT!! We went to this place because it has high reviews. Kids were able to order half portions and everything was very tasty. One of Cala d'Or's top tables, Port Petit adds an innovative spin to local seafood and produce, served on a covered terrace whose dazzling whiteness matches the yachts below. They put pepperoni on my pizza by mistake, not only did they take it back and make a fresh one, but also got a round of drink on the house for the inconvenience. Great experience, recommend highly :). Always busy even out of season, just shows how popular it is.
