the ferry departs from Gru port in Dubrovnik, it is located about 3 km from the city walls. I traveled in summer and it was crowded. If you are not in a terrible hurry, you can do a bit of island hopping on your way from Split to Dubrovnik. There are no movies in the ferry. This is a fairly tight timeline considering that a flight might be a bit late. Does anyone know where the port is in Split and in Hvar? There are no asignes seats and its very cold inside (at least in summer) because of the AC.
