Our group had a fantastic time on our snorkel trip to Molokini and Turtle Cove. You just cant get up close and personal on a giant vessel the way that you can on our low profile ocean rafts. Redline takes great pride in giving you an unforgettable experience while protecting our marine life by combining education with fun! Having been on several other boats, we were impressed with the amount of food and beverages available. Thought it was very reasonably priced, but would have paid double given the experience they gave us. We had 2 snorkel stops, both had turtles and plenty of fish and coral. I felt safe, it was fun running around on the ocean, and wow, are those whales incredible! Less people in the water so we can move around more freely! This was great because our feet were in the water and the people on a bigger boat tour that was next to us were standing on the deck at least 4-5 feet up. She made a point to talk to everyone and also called everyone by name. Captain Sam sped us all over the bay to make sure we saw Bottlenose Dolphins and Spinner Dolphins too! Noni took our boys under her "water" wing and showed them how amazing the ocean can be. We had been on one of their trips seven years ago and they were our first stop when we traveled back to Lahaina!

Last trip we were on with them though, the motor was left running while we were setting still and this caused excessive exhaust smelling, which made it fairly uncomfortable. Neither option is wrong. We had a huge momma (or male escort) breech three times in front of us and it was magnificent!! The whole experience was exceptional and we were absolutely thrilled. I have been whale watching twice before and they were both experiences of squinting in the distance trying to find the tiny spout or fin that some others were seeing. The dolphins or whales in these photos and videos approached the boat while the engines were in neutral or off. There is an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 while in any public place where people are present. We had the good fortune of being able to view humpback whales up close which was awesome. They were very environmentally conscious and cared about preserving the reef. Smaller boat, more locations, five star experience! Lanai offers snorkeling that you will never be able to find on any road system. Loved it and would use this company again!

Last trip we were on with them though, the motor was left running while we were setting still and this caused excessive exhaust smelling, which made it fairly uncomfortable. Neither option is wrong. We had a huge momma (or male escort) breech three times in front of us and it was magnificent!! The whole experience was exceptional and we were absolutely thrilled. They shared a lot of knowledge and where eager to get us close to the whales. If you don't have experience being in a small boat and prefer more amenities, this may not be the right choice for you. Mahalo. We were able to get close to baby whales, breaches, and at one point they were swimming under the boat. We were afforded the opportunity to improve our onboard amenities and refine the guest experience.
I have been whale watching twice before and they were both experiences of squinting in the distance trying to find the tiny spout or fin that some others were seeing. The dolphins or whales in these photos and videos approached the boat while the engines were in neutral or off. There is an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 while in any public place where people are present. We had the good fortune of being able to view humpback whales up close which was awesome. I had the BEST Lanai Snorkel trip today where I saw Hawaiian Spinner Dolphins and had the most extremely awesome up close Humpback Whale encounter!! The backside of Molokini (a very pristine environment) and La Perouse Bays playful, curious spinner dolphins, are two favorites.
They were very environmentally conscious and cared about preserving the reef. Smaller boat, more locations, five star experience! Lanai offers snorkeling that you will never be able to find on any road system. Loved it and would use this company again!
