However, my expectations were dashed when I tried it on. Comes with the classic red ribbon on arm pocket that you can unmount. However, slim fit is more like tight fit. It fits very well. It probably would not be a sufficient weight for Minnesota or Michigan in January or February, but for those occasional cold days we get here in the California desert during that time period, it is perfect and it would work for those other climates in late fall or early spring. The "waistband" was more of a "butt band" on me, not a good look. The sleeves were a little long but still wearable and the shoulders were a little big but it didn't bother me. Alpha's mainline MA-1 is indeed cut very large for an overweight population at a time when baggy oversized fit is familiar to lots of them. Great jacket!
