The tea and citrus still stick around along with a light woody base to round out an absolute perfect fragrance. Very fresh and floral and excellent for spring/summer. My intention was to give it to my hubby because he's been a little sad lately that his beloved Bvlgari Black is almost gone. smells good effortlessly and lasts a long time without screaming hey look at me, instead says they know who you areBlack, BLV, and this are my favorites from the bvlgari line. , .. . Once upon a time I loved it, the dry down us actually quite nice, but it's just do damn weak, when my husband wears this - I just want to snuggle up close..it is gorgeous. I like original Bvlgari Pour Homme. No mximo uma boa fragrancia, j o experimentei e me pareceu uma bom perfume de escritrio, mas nada espetacular. Anyway, ask those around you and blame musk anosmia. This and Chanel Allure were my go to scents when I first really got into fragrances. Cannot recommend ti anyone with faith that theyll even be able to smell it. Its a nice fragrance, thats light and very unique. I just got it today. I literally have to spray all the time. Not strong enough for me to be honest I can barely smell it on me throughout the day ! It surprises me with the complexity of the notes included in this fragrance how amazingly simple and classic the results are. The other one was Armani Pour Homme (when I was a teeny tiny kiddo) and this Bvlgari when I was in HS. I don't find it complicatedit's rather simple in a clean, light and inoffensive manner. Although tea is listed as the most prominent note in the survey above, the tea note here is very light and blends in with a lot of the other notes.
I'm not a huge fan of "fresh" or "light" fragrances (which Cavallier is known for), but I can see where BPH has its cult-following.
It's not a bad scent, just so many more interesting fragrances on the market today for about the same price. Definitely agreeing with fingerlicker, it's extremely weak. I love this smell so much! But it is still enjoyable. Dont get me wrong.
All the other tea scents I've tried miss the mark completely by being too sweet or not actually smelling like tea at all, but Pour Homme's tea is potent, realistic and tannic. The overall scent is a delight to inhale. Hundreds, possibly thousands of scents later, I understand how amazingly well constructed and unique it is. best used with tuxedo and i guess it's not suitable for those under 35 years old. Such is the nature of aldehydes or the 'sparkle' in a classic fragrance. I got a 10 ml bottle sprayer decant and its a well rounded scent very aural not projecting. It is so subtle that it could work like an extension of one's personal scent. Although it has a very fresh, crisp and energetic vibe to it, it also develops in a pretty good way on my skin, lingering for many hours. This fragrance reminds me of so many wonderful memories of growing up. Bulgari pour Homme is like the Soda water by itself, with a few more notes added to it, it could be delicious. Not to much in your face which compliments the floral notes perfectly. The tea and citrus still stick around along with a light woody base to round out an absolute perfect fragrance. Dry down is musky and that's fine with me. It's kinda hard to overspray it as I usually give it 6 squirts. I will forever CHERISH my bottle as it's the last of its kind this was my father's one of 2 signature scents that's why it's very dear to me. Yes, I realise there are other notes, but they are so faint, they barely register. Not huge, but very distinctive. But give it some time and let it evolve from your skin and then see the magic.Classy scent and lasts on you for a long time. The opening is very light, with orangey-citrus, black pepper, and tea. I can barely smell it on my skin. Kind of a muted fruity floral at the start waning into spices and musk.
Very nice opening but then what I think is a huge amount of iso e super takes over and I smell little else. Total blind buy.I had no idea what this one would smell like but the price was awesome enough to take a chance. Bvlgari has a knack for making beautiful, refreshing, casual yet classy fragrances that are always sure crowd pleasers. It opens up with like fresh citrusy , floral and green notes in the background then dry down is musky woody.
The OG formulation is so superior even to that of the Extreme version. Too strong on initial spray, then dies a natural death in an hour, to a skin scent. Perfect for office/business with it's refined aroma it also has near universal appeal to the ladies. This is such an underrated gem. Citrus and musk; some florals that are not sweet.
I applied on my hand (as I usually do), and it was so weak I applied more. Since then, tea has been a signature note for this brand, incorporated successfully in many compositions in the 90s and early 2000s. Now it smells of nothing. This is good cologne for office, also this is good for casual wear in summer season. I have this.. A bit weaker than 'Bvlgari Extrme'. Fresh & spicy. The Rouge is light years away from the pathetic Pour Homme. The best way to appreciate this fragrance is to live with someone who wears it.
Nice 'clean' smell and masculine.
I would not mind a little more flower or a pinch of spicy or a vetiver and more decisive cedar, it's all so flat that it tastes of nothing. Try it. Very nice, classy, good everyday scent. Bvlgari Pour Homme come un tatuaggio nascosto, non accessibile a tutti, non un marcatore.
And it's super affordable. Sillage and longevity are great on my skin. It's very elegant, delicate and fresh smell.
It is sexy not in seductive way, but sexy in a way that it makes your personality so good and clean. There are a myriad of notes listed here and I'm a little surprised because although I'm really enjoying this ( on myself!! The initial spray of this scent was amazing. Definitely not for date & clubbing. Its not flashy but its still seductive. It's really a steal at the prices you can get it for online. But as it smells now, this scent is a failed blind buy for me. Unfortunately I regretted buying it (blind)because it's very synthetic i.m.o. But after 3-4 hours it settles down to a unique florals note. Please read the Terms of Service and Privacy policy. Elegant & masculine the tea notes linger all the way through the musky base. Barely there, I decided to use the rest of the sample vial, and wow, the amount of alcohol surprised me. Perhaps layering it with some other cologne might help.
Starts off with the trademark bvlgari tea note mixed with a light smooth orange grind accord along with some other florals which ultimately warms down into a light aromatic and slightly woody and musky base. I like the smell and i find it amazing that this would be the cologne to favour my body chemistry. (Could this sample be bad?) Fragrantica Trends is a relative value that shows the interest of Fragrantica members in this fragrance over time.
Love this scent, light, fresh and great for office wear. Today, I stopped and cried in the city centrum when a beloved person had unconsciously rejected me after a long workday. It was amazing on him, subtle but long lasting. Again , maybe its just me that I am used to strong stuff ! But the best Bvlgari Ive worn is The Rouge, so powerful, so bold!
Top notes are Tea, Aldehydes, Bergamot, Lavender, Nutmeg Flower, Orange Blossom and Mandarin Orange; middle notes are Pepper, iris, Guaiac Wood, Brazilian Rosewood, Coriander, Cyclamen, Cardamom, Carnation and Geranium; base notes are Musk, Vetiver, Cedar, Oakmoss, Amber and Tonka Bean. Now the rainy season has arrived will try this next week eventhough I still enjoying my fave Clinique Happy, Versace Eros and Allure homme sport. this is one of my husband's favorite perfume. It's a nice fragrance, Fresh, Clean and Floral.
Even the "extreme" version is not "extreme" for today standards (but is different and, a pity, stronger, too strong for me). very fresh, nice scent. I felt so sad, so empty, so alone yet I was surrounded by people.
It is too late for you-HE is in your mind.. Barley lasts 1 hour at best. The base notes almost do not change. It is the definition of a "green" scent and the performance is top notch. On me I find it best in fall/winter with a suit or expensive sweater. a very refined, classy fragrance. Classic legendary fragrance! It's like spicy tea with waterlillies. The best I can come up with is that it's a moderately sweet, but clean, grayish fabricky musk that is hard to detect when you're searching for it, but always transparently there in the background. Very classy but very light scent. every guy in this world should wear this perfume. It"s very elegant scent ,not for too young people +28 man who is reach the somewhere and know how to take it! Tempted to go back tomorrow; definitely worth a second look and a try on skin this time.
Its not too masculine, I pretty much stick to the classic scents, I find this fragrance more unisex than just masculine. Pure memories of my good ol days in a bottle. Smells very clean and fresh, but not overdone. It is slightly sharp, slightly green, but really smells like half a perfume. The short story here for me is that this is smooth versatile and classy. I like this scent a lot but it doesn's seem like a scent that I would want to make a statement with. This classic distinct masterpiece will always be in my collection. Take away the lime cordial and the soda water is pretty uninteresting, but with the cordial it creates a synergy. Bvlgari Pour Homme by Bvlgari is a Woody Floral Musk fragrance for men. nicee. my favorite frag at the office.a classy, cool (but not snobbish),fresh scent.it's perfect from the first till the last notethe only negative point is that it stays toooooo close to the skin. I like tea scents, so I thought Id like Bvlgari Pour Homme. Very nice parfume for day, soft and masculin. I love this perfume. This is the most contemporary professional scent I've encountered so far, with an elusiveness that fascinates me. I don't get a lot of the floral notes that are mentioned but I do get all sorts of smells including tea, aldehydes, various citrus notes (very gentle) and vetiver and tonka bean at various points. But it gives a mature, formal vibe. It's elegant, sexy and reassuring. it smells like cologne on him and a beautiful light perfume on me . It doesn't smell synthetic nor is it intoxicating or overpoweringI just wish I could smell it more :/. Not surprised this one is discontinued. When I first encountered BPH, it was almost a decade after its release (2006) and I bought it scent unsniffed, from an online retailer after reading the reviews of Fragranticans far wiser and experienced than myself. Smells a bit like fabric softener, but that's not a bad thing! Thank you to the reviews for this as it is an amazing find. I felt obligated to wear Bulgari Pour Homme because to me it smells like the Platonic ideal of an expensive, flawlessly tailored and pressed suit. Bvlgari Pour Homme smells like a fresher, greener version of Lalique's Encre Noir. Bvlgari Pour Homme takes everything that's great about his blockbuster L'eau D'Issey - released two years earlier in '94 - and gets rid of the aquatic notes in favour of a beautiful floral heart. Almost identical to Bvlgari pour homme Extrme. It's not the most amazing thing you'll ever smell, yet it is undeniably charming. A contemplative sit on a stone bench in the morning dampness of an ancient tree and moss covered garden on the forst edge, outside a distillery. There are some scents you get, experience and can't wait to review, to gush words of praise and tell the world from the rooftops. I have this fragnance with batch code for 2010 and i think this is so horrible, the opening and drydown were awful, nothing special at all. I'm sure in the 90's this was the t*ts. Sillage is not that great but its good, the longevity is very long. Perfumes: 73,887 I dont just parade a success full in this smell. Marissa Zappas Announces A New Collection + A Giveaway!
I like Bvlgari Pour Homme EDT for Men. Pour Homme sits close to the skin they say but for me it projects like 2 inch away, I love it. A woody frescolino that is not worth buying. Its not loud but it will sneak up on you. for me, it smells bitter and bold. Elegance = Bvlgari Pour Homme. I used to date a guy that used it and I actually thought that it's his natural body smell, and I loved it.
E' cos delicato che dovr, e potr, essere apprezzato solo da coloro che supereranno il confine di una stretta di mano. A very special, very incredibly-blended clean and bright fragrance for men. Smell is wonderful, strong longevity but lack of sillage.. Wanginya khas sampai kw nya pun termasuk agak berhasil menirunya..i think so, kembali bicara bph dalam hal ini yg oritop notes sedikit kurang disuka menurut saya tapi kemudian setelahnya perlahan begitu kuat karakternya dan terasa 'menempel' dikulit dan makin terasa lembut dan awet.
