It is super, super green but not grassy, more fresh floral but you can't pinpoint which flower it smells like. The clean sharp bamboo of Gracious is so fresh and the base of musk gives it depth and decent longevity. Safe, work-appropriate, and subtle. I saw a comparison to Gap Grass, and while I see similarities, this fragrance is softer and delicate in comparison. More of a Green Tea type scent spray for summer. It's uber refreshing, barely sweet in a floral way, and unsaltedly aquatic, which is such a nice combo. The scent comes in a dark blue bottle, recalling the hues of dusk in New York City. Tested them all, but this was the only one with wow factor. "ooooh, you smell so good! It makes me think of beautiful greenery dripping with morning dew in a lush forest. It has no floral notes in it. I think it would be great for summer. I have to say, this is well worth the money and I encourage people who like truly fresh scents to give this a try. TRULYgracious was launched in 2017. The grass smells so sweet and succulent, it almost creeps into cucumber territory. Its not an exact dupe for the wonderful perfume from the 80's. It's lovely, I recommend it. I get lily of the valley in a light, just-blooming, and non-heady sort of fashion. It doesnt smell like anything else I have come across in my opinion.

I too found it odd that they attributed a quote to a person deceased. After the drydown this fragrance becomes very very soft, so it will not overwhelm others. If you like the idea of bottling vanilla ice cream eaten in the heat of summer, drizzled with blackcurrant sauce and topped with blueberries, seek out New York Sparkle this week and see if it doesnt bring a smile to your face. A simple and soft green scent that I can imagine wearing while taking a walk in nature. I found it at Marshalls for only $20, and bought it only because Ive been eyeing it because of its comparison to Lauren. Idk how to explain it but it is defiantly green but not in an unpleasant way at all.I wanted a green perfume and this does not disappoint. Got this because of the comparison to Gap Grass. 
Not a statement maker but perfect for everyday wear.
