Nothing. I think I change the speeds maybe once a month, maybe less. I contacted customer service via email in the late evening with complete details. In-depth articles, up-close photography, and detailed illustrations. Guess who has what your looking for?? I have the speed controller adjusted to go from zero to 2500 RPM at the twist of a dial. Variable speed, multi-speed or even single speed! Features Adaptive Control software that determines and creates optimum conditions for your specific project. Anyone who has waited days to get any response from a computer or software company knows that this was a superb reaction by customer service. Those are the CONS, the PROS are: 1) Smoooooth power. I would like to see some type of auxiliary on off switch. And we also want you to be satisfied. It's nice to be able to use a big spade or forstner bit at slow speed, then switch to a 1/8" twist drill and speed it up by just turning the dial. I did have to rig the machine head from the floor joist above, using a come-along and nylon rope. Then there's aluminum or whatever medium I decide to work in this week (grin). The human interface is pretty good, but the touch switches often have to be pushed twice to work, being a bit too stiff out of the box. I use it for both metal working and wood working. Just my luck I got a bad unit. I tried to turn the conversation a little, didn't work. This model also offers automatic spindle descent for ease of use. LOL OOps! Being able to go into the menu, and tell the machine what kind of bit you are using, and what material you are drilling into, and it coming up with the drill speed, is so handy. The best for the buckare adjustable pulley mounted over the quill. # 2 They would have to re-design what they already have. dia. I do see the need for a good splitter/guard though ;). This causes the belt to climb over the flange and drop into the next groove. So that's the way to keep my fingers from being firmly seated between the belt and the pulley, eh!?
