So far, I have only used the string trimmer a couple of times. I find I rarely have it cranked much more than a third of what its capable of. The dedicated EGO trimmer tool I bought (and returned) before buying this attachment did not have any way to spin the trimmer at a moderate speed, it was either high speed or absurd speed.

My only real criticisms: I dont like that the trimmer head now turns counterclockwise rather than clockwise; since Im right-handed and hold the tool to my right, this tends to throw debris back toward me, rather than away like the original 15-inch trimmer did. This is my first string trimmer so it took a while to get used to the bump head and made me wonder if I should have splurged for the line EQ trimmer. The cutting angle is sloped away from me.
