The midsole runs similar to the hyperburst of the SKechers Razor 3. When I first put them on, I was surprised by how firm they feltbut once I started running in them, they felt great. They are very light weight for the level of cushion/protection they provide, and as they've broken in a bit the upper just fits like a glove - snug everywhere without being tight anywhere. Great lightweight, roomy, bouncy racer/trainer.

What I wasn't anticipating was how well the upper fits. They tested them against the Pegasus Turbo and for me I prefer them as they have 2mm more cushion in the front and same at the back with the same weight and a wider midfoot. Our goal race will be the Hartford Half Marathon on Saturday 10/8/22. The bouncing and response is so so.

Order with confidence. The combination of response, secure fit, and lightness really helped me push the tempo for my training runs. If your schedule is ahead of the groups, we also ask that you dont encourage other runners to run longer distances than what is prescribed in their training plan. Makes running fun. The magic is in the responsive foam that allowed for a seem less transition from 13 miles on Sunday near marathon pace to easy 5 mi on Monday to speed day repeats on Tuesday. I have two pair. When my foot started to hurt only in these after about 30 total miles I retired them. The midsole here is fantastic. What if I want to train with the group but I am doing a different race?This is absolutely fine but you will be responsible for modifying your training plan to meet your specific needs.
