Wouldn't recommend it though. The low speed is very quiet, and it starts gently, which is really nice for a unit that hangs from the ceiling. It is hung from the ceiling to be out of my way and still circulate and clean the air of mostly airborn sawdust.

We first decide on a theme and then follow through by selecting a bare-bones space that serves as our blank slate. This unit is much quieter than the other brand I had in the shop. I have had it installed for about a week and I notice a significant reduction in the dust throughout my basement.
